Lyrical anthology with summery and magical scents, for two voices and piano.
Summer is made for playing!
Inspired by the enchanting setting of Harbottle Gardens and St-Paul-de-Cumberland Church, the Florilège trio presents on August 4 a concert for voice and piano with classic and nostalgic flavors evoked by the fairy tales of our childhood.
Skillfully playing with musical comedy, opera and melody repertoires, the members of the trio composed of Valérie Bélanger, soprano, Emanuel Lebel, baritone and Simon Charette, pianist, playfully revisit the stories of princesses and enchanted creatures with whom they grew up as well as classical pieces evoking these magical themes. From Perrault to La Fontaine via the Brothers Grimm, Heine and Shakespeare, this concert will have everything to put you in the magical atmosphere of the gardens where you can then have a picnic!
Young and old will be enchanted and transported to magical lands where they will live happily until the end of time!
